Cassava Ongol – Ongol

Ingredients:
• 1 pack of Bola Dunia agar-agar
• 2 kg cassava (finely grated)
• 500 g sugar
• 500 ml water
• Grated coconut, to taste
• Food coloring, as desired

 

Instructions:

  1. Mix grated coconut with a pinch of salt and steam it.
  2. Combine agar-agar, sugar, and water. Cook until it reaches a boil.
  3. Pour the agar-agar mixture into the grated cassava and mix well.
  4. Divide the cassava mixture into 3 portions and add different food colorings as desired.
  5. Steam each colored cassava mixture separately.
  6. Once cooked, let them cool completely. Cut into cube shapes and coat with steamed grated coconut.
